Rain, Rain, Go Away
This Spring was one for the record books. After singing "Rain, Rain, Go Away" with my grade 1 and 2 students all year, I never expected to still be singing it in July in a genuine attempt to convince the clouds to move along. Between cancelled plans, struggling vegetables, thriving flowers, puddle-jumping adventures, and plenty of last-minute schedule changes, this rainy season has reminded me of the importance of flexibility, gratitude, and finding joy in the unexpected. Sometimes the best parts of summer aren't the ones we planned for but the ones we discover along the way.
